Prices.

As a 'Not for Profit' society, our aim is to supply the Family Historian with research material at minimum cost. All profits are used to obtain new materials for transcribing and publication.

Ordering and how to pay.

There are now two methods for ordering and paying for transcriptions from the PRTSOC.

1. Sending your order with a cheque for payment in the post / mail.

Please print the order form below, complete the form with the transcripts you wish to order with the prices and the total order value. Do not forget to fill in your address details. Post / mail the completed order form with a cheque / postal order for the total order value to:

Overseas payments to be made in Sterling drawn on a UK Clearing Bank.

Postage & Packing.

Prices include postage and packing for mainland UK. Please request details of postage and packing for overseas airmail by e-mailing us at: mail@prtsoc.org.uk stating the publications you require.

Delivery.

Delivery is normally by return but if out of stock, please allow up to 10 days.

Ordering & Buying Online.

The Parish Register Transcription Society has an account with PAYPAL enabling our customers to purchase our transcripts online.

Those of you familiar with Paypal procedures will understand how it works. For those of you that don't, don't worry, the process is a simple one.

If you do not already have an account with Paypal you will be required to set one up, a setup procedure that you will be guided through during the ordering process.

You will however require one of the credit cards featured above. For further information about paypal, their security and procedures, please click on the 'Paypal' logo above, which will take you to their site.

Below are some simple illustrations to assist you with ordering and paying for transcripts from the PRTSOC using the Paypal service.

AIR MAIL.

If you wish your order despatched by Air Mail there is a one off charge of £2.50 per total order. Each published transcript page has an 'Add to Cart' button for airmail for your covenience and don't worry if you add it more than once you can amend all order quantities when you get to the 'View Cart' stage. that goes for transcripts too. Remember once only per total order.

Please Note:
If this payment is not received with the order the goods will be delivered by normal mail.

Paypal.

Step 1.

Open the 'Published Transcript' page with the transcript, fiche or CD, that you are interested in. Let's say you wish to purchase HACKMANCD 'The Hackman Series of Hampshire Bishops Transcripts ISSN 1472-1074 Volumes 01 to 82 - Double CD'.

Step 2.

Find the button at the end of the row showing details for HACKMANCD.

Step 3.

Left click on the button.

Step 4.

A new window will open at Paypal.com showing the contents of your 'Paypal Shopping cart'.

Step 5.

Don't forget to add Airmail if required by clicking the button and then the button at the end of the row showing details for Airmail. The new window will open at Paypal.com showing the contents of your 'Paypal Shopping cart'.

Step 6.

You may continue to add transcripts to your shopping cart by clicking the button which will take you back to PRTSOC.ORG.Uk. But remember you only need to add Airmail once per order.

Step 7.

When you have selected all of the transcripts you require, check the contents of your shopping cart carefully, then if correct, click the button and follow the instructions presented by Paypal to complete your transaction.
